Stripe is looking for a proactive Security Engineer to join our team in Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security threats before they can impact our systems and users. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure that our systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Identify and assess potential security threats and vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.,Develop and implement security controls and measures to mitigate identified threats and vulnerabilities.,Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.,Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that security considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle.,Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to our security program.,Collaborate with other security teams and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective security response to incidents.,Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.,Provide security training and awareness to employees and stakeholders as needed.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.,5+ years of experience in a security engineering or related role.,Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and standards, including OWASP, NIST, and ISO.,Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and security architecture.,Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with security tools and frameworks.,Knowledge of cloud security and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.,Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and log analysis.,Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.,Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
